VISUAL CNC2 - Machine Tool Program Manager

Visual CNC has many powerful features, including:-

Integrated text editor for viewing and editing existing CNC programs and creating new ones, this can have many programs for editing at once and includes cut, copy, paste, print etc..

The database window is the key feature to Visual CNC, from here all of the CNC programs created are stored and organized. The easy to use interface makes sending, receiving ande managing programs incredibly simple, so simple there is now no excuse not to save a copy of every program created for every job however simple. Each program is stored in the database with a few additional pieces of information, namely, part number, customer, description, notes, tooling details and notes which are entered by the user when saving or creating a program, this makes searching hundreds or thousands of programs simple and very fast. If you have programs for several different machine tools all for making the same part just enter the part number in the search window and Visual CNC will show the programs for all the different machines, either open them from here, edit them or send them directly to the machine tool! The database also automatically created version history of each modification to each CNC program and stores them in a seperate database giving protection from both types of loss of data (total data failure and accidental overwriting of good data) just open the restore window, find the program/s and click restore! Existing files can also be easily imported. The database files created are also compatible with Microsoft Access so the more advanced users can customise Visual CNC.

Programming tools integrated for quickly creating programs including PCD calculator, Shape calculator, drilling cycle generator, grooving cycle generator, surface speed calculator. Each of these will create ISO g-code in seconds making programming easier.

Block Database for storing and instantly re-using common and useful pieces of programs, these can be instantly stored and re-used throughout the program dramatically saving on repeat programming and typing.

• Thread data both Metric and Imperial

• Conversion tables for Imperial and Metric sizes and common engineering values

• Geometric Tolerancing Information
